In beta · bookkeeping for makers

Know what your work actually earns.

foliascore connects to your shop — Etsy today, Shopify on the way — and shows you what every order really paid you: after fees, payment processing, shipping, and the materials in the thing you made. Or import your data and go.

Etsy
foliascore dashboard — real profit per order after every fee and cost

You sold $4,000 last month. So why does your bank account say otherwise?

Between the marketplace's transaction fee, the payment processing cut, offsite ads, shipping labels, and the supplies that went into every piece, most makers are guessing at their real profit — or finding out at tax time. The spreadsheet you built at 1am isn't wrong because you're bad at spreadsheets. It's wrong because this is genuinely hard to track by hand.

Your sales sync themselves.

Orders, revenue, and payouts flow in from Etsy and Shopify on their own. You add what things cost — foliascore does the rest of the math.

Every order, fully accounted.

Order #2841 sold for $52. The marketplace's fees took $5.39, the silver and stones cost you $11.20, postage cost $4.10. You kept $31.31. foliascore shows that line for every sale — automatically.

Real profit, kept up to date for you.

Your sales and payouts sync straight from your shops, so your revenue stays current. Add your costs — materials, supplies, packaging — and you've got your real profit. Costs are frozen at the moment of sale, so when you change a price next month, last month's profit stays true.

Stock that matches your workbench.

See what's on hand, what's running low, and what you need to buy before your next market — for finished pieces and the materials that go into them.

Tax season, already done.

Your income, fees, and cost of goods for the year — in one place, all year. When your accountant (or the tax form) asks, the number is just… there.

Your whole shop at a glance.

Every order arrives on its own — what you sold, what the platform took, what you were paid. Add your costs and you've got real profit by month, by year, and per order, with the yearly figures ready for tax season.

Per-order profit, automatically

Every sale brings in its revenue, the fees the platform took, and your payout. Pair that with your costs and you can see which listings earn their keep — and which just keep you busy.

Costs that stay current

Enter what your products cost once. Each new order pulls them through automatically — no monthly catch-up, no rebuilds.

Numbers your accountant can use

Profit by month, by year, and per order. Your platform fee statements stay one click away when tax time comes.

Works with your shop.

Connect the marketplace you already sell on and your orders, revenue, and payouts flow in automatically — no exports, no copy-paste. Add your costs once, and every order shows its real profit.

Etsy

Live

Orders, revenue, and your net payout sync automatically. Upload your monthly Etsy statement and the full fee breakdown — buyer fees, processing, ads, refunds, VAT — fills in down to the cent.

Shopify

Coming soon

Connect your store and your orders, revenue, and payouts sync the same way — same dashboard, same profit-per-order view. Built and in final testing now.

More platforms are on the way. Selling somewhere else? Tell us and we'll prioritise what to build next.

Built for makers, not bookkeepers.

If you sell jewellery, candles, ceramics, prints, leather, or anything you make yourself — and you'd rather spend the evening making things than chasing your numbers — this is for you.

This isn't heavyweight accounting software. It's the tool you sign up for on a Sunday night when you realise you have no idea what you're actually making after fees.

  • An Etsy shop, a Shopify store, or both
  • Tracking by hand and tired of it, or not tracking at all
  • Doing your own books, or handing clean numbers to your accountant
  • No separate business bank account (most beginner sellers don't have one)

How it works.

Three steps to see your shop's numbers.

  1. 01

    Continue with Google.

One click. We never see your password.

  2. 02

    Connect your shop.

Read-only, about two minutes. We pull your orders and what you were actually charged on each one.

  3. 03

    See your numbers.

Real profit per order, per product, per month — not gross sales.

Add what your products cost to make whenever it suits you — the numbers sharpen as you do.

No credit card required.

Your numbers have to be right.

Or none of this is worth anything. foliascore pulls directly from your shop's records — the same source your payment account is built from. Read-only access: it never touches your listings, prices, or orders. Your data is yours — export it or delete it, any time.

A note from the maker

I run an Etsy shop too. foliascore exists because my own spreadsheet told me a product line was profitable when it wasn't — the fees and materials were eating it, and I couldn't see it. I built the tool I needed. If something's off or missing, tell me and I'll fix it: hello@foliascore.com.

Beta · everything unlocked

Free during beta.

We're still learning what works before we set prices. Every feature is free right now — no caps, no credit card. Tell us what's missing while you use it: there's a feedback button inside the app and a real person (me) reading every message.

When we introduce pricing, the free tier will stay genuinely free for hobby shops — the full platform fee breakdown from your monthly statement, your material costs, exports, dashboard. Sellers who join during beta get looked after when pricing lands — an extended free run on the paid features, and plenty of notice before anything changes.

Things you might be wondering.

The things makers ask first.

Is it safe to connect my shop?
Read-only. foliascore never writes anything back to your shop — it can't touch your prices, listings, inventory, or orders. Your data is encrypted at rest, and there's a delete-everything button inside the app.
What do I actually have to do?
Connect your shops once. On Etsy, your orders, revenue, and net payout sync automatically; upload your monthly Etsy statement to fill in the itemized fee breakdown — buyer fees, processing, ads, refunds, VAT. The only other manual entry is off-platform expenses — supplies, packaging, market fees — which takes a few clicks a week.
Do I have to enter past orders by hand?
No. We pull your order history automatically when you connect — you never type in a sale.
Do I need to enter recipes for every product?
No. We map your listings to products automatically. You can add material costs later if you want sharper per-product profit — it's optional.
How much does it cost?
Free during beta — no caps, no credit card. When we introduce pricing, the free tier will stay genuinely free for hobby shops, and sellers who joined during beta get an extended free run on the paid features, with plenty of notice first.
Do you support more than one channel?
Etsy is live today, and Shopify is built and on the way — both land in one dashboard, so your numbers stay combined. More platforms are on the roadmap.
Can I export my data?
Always. CSV, PDF, and Google Sheets — anytime, no lock-in.

Stop guessing. See what you actually earn.
